Meet Dawson Ford Garbee's Realtors and CO's Seasoned Army Brat, Kathy Turner

bullet imagebullet imageBefore the age of 25, Kathy Turner saw close to ten different states and two different countries. That was a move to a different state every other year, which offered Kathy a unique perspective of the United States. She came from a military family, and that was par for the course growing up. She became aware of how people lived in different areas, and she began asking some big questions that ultimately shaped her career as a forest virginia realtor. What do people need in a home? What is a home, anyway?

The Present Leads to Tomorrow

Kathy never really had a place she could call home, for after 24 to 48 months, she was gone to a new school and a new city. This has allowed Kathy to empathize in a very real way with the many clients she works with who ask the same questions. “What is my home like? Where do I need to be?” These questions drive at the heart of what being a real estate forest va agent is all about. It is about bridging those gaps between the present and the future. It is about finding a place someone can really call home.

Kathy's Current Listings

Kathy as a forest va realtor seems to place extra emphasis on large homes at affordable prices. It seems like such an easy thing to put together. Yet, somehow, Kathy manages to find three bedroom, three baths for under $200,000 in the surrounding region of Lynchburg and Appomattox. She has two properties listed now. Both are three bedroom. Both are under $170,000. They are both ranch-oriented homes.

A Home That Matters

There is something special about Kathy’s ability to find these expansive homes at the prices she does. Just as impressive is her ability to find the right family for the right home. She can feel what a family is looking for in a home and a lynchburg va realtor. The small things do not go overlooked. She takes a real account of everything a family is looking for, and she is able to fill in the gaps where the family is not sure. Kathy knows what having no long-term home is all about. She can sometimes live vicariously through her clients- bringing them a home that lights their faces and gets them feeling comfortable about a new future in a new place. It is what she has always done.
